Our London Family Remembrance First Anniversary: What should we do as mourning individuals?

Today marks the first anniversary of " Our London Family" Tragic!

Therefore, We encourage everyone to go out this week and wear the green and purple ribbon that is the official symbol of remembrance of Our London Family and let our niyyeh (intention) be helping & supporting the Muslims in need and amplifying our voices as a strong united Ummah. In memory of those who face discrimination, racism, and Islamophobia, let's work against the ideologies imposed unjustly on Islam. It is our job to make sure that Muslims can feel safe walking peacefully all the while outwardly representing their beautiful religion.

What else can we do to help?

Allah says in the Quran, “[Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah.” (Quran 33:39} As Muslims, it is our duty to convey the proper message of Islam, as these acts of terrorism are usually fueled by the media’s representation of us. It is important to work efficiently with how we represent ourselves in mind. Here are a few upcoming GTA events:
